The Island ASC - FAQs
FAQs
Here you will find answers to comonly asked questions.

I want to change my booking date, how do I do this?
Because the invoice is closed when payment is made, you will need to cancel the booking via the members portal and recreate the booking for your new dates. A credit will be added to your account for use in the next booking for the full amount.
As per our Booking T&Cs you can only cancel a booking if it is outside 48 hours of your booking date. We are unable to provide you with a credit or cancellation if you request to cancel your booking within 48 hours of the ride day you have booked for.

I need to cancel my booking, how do I do this?
Simply login to the members portal and cancel the booking you do not want to keep. You must do this prior to 48 hours of your booking.
We have a no refund policy and we can not make any changes to your booking if you request this within 48 hours of the selected day.

How do I add someone to my booking?
The best way to do this is with a new booking, as the invoice for your first booking is paid and closed you will need to create a new booking for that additional person. Please remember you can not create a booking for a spectator only, all spectators must be attached to a rider booking.

How can I delete a rider from my booking that is no longer coming?
Once your invoice is closed after you have paid, you can only cancel a booking and create a new one.
Use the members portal to cancel your booking and a credit will be added to your account for use in your next booking.
We cannot guarentee that the dates will still be available when limited numbers are enforced.

I have tried to reset my password but it isnt working?

Can I add a spectator to my booking?
If you have completed your booking and have made your payment, you are unable to add a spectator to this booking. You will need to cancel your booking, a credit is then applied to your account automatically and then you are able to create a new booking. We do not provide the option for a spectator only booking, all spectators must be attached to a booking that has a rider included.

What happens in the event you are rained out and I have booked for that day?
All riders / families are notified via SMS if we have cancelled your ride day due to wet weather. A credit will be automatically applied to your account and you can use this credit for your next booking. If you have a booking and you change your mind due to forecasted weather we are not able to cancel your booking and provide you with a credit, these credits are only provided if The Island ASC cancels the ride day. We have had many instances where forecasted weather in the area that the rider resides in has indicated wet weather, however this does not always mean the same will occur in the location of our complex.
Please ensure you view our social media platforms to view any weather updates.

I have a toddler, do I need to add them as a spectator?
Any child under the age of 4 is not required to be apart of the booking.

I am under 18 but I have my drivers licence, do I still need a guardian on the day of my ride and to book my ride day?
Yes, all riders under the age of 18 MUST have a guardian present on the day and be the main account holder through the online portal.
Please remember we reserve the right to request additional documentation if we feel you have provided a false year of birth to avoid having a guardian attend the complex with you. This will also have implications on your membership due to false information.
